Incident
While responding to a motor vehicle accident, a pickup truck pulled in front of the apparatus Captain Stapleton was driving. As he took action to avoid a collision, the apparatus left the roadway and overturned in a ditch. Captain Stapleton died two days later from injuries sustained in the crash.
