Incident
While providing security for a special event at the Community Christian Academy at approximately 6:15 p.m., Deputy Shaw suffered an apparent heart attack and collapsed. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he died a short time later.
Deputy Shaw was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
