Incident
Chief Johnson responded to a report of a fully involved residential fire. During the response, his vehicle left the roadway and rolled several times. He died at the scene.
Chief Johnson was the Fire Chief of the Alton Volunteer Fire Department, a police officer for the City of Alton, and a reserve officer with the Oregon County Sheriff's Office.
