Incident
Officer Wells was shot and killed while investigating several suspicious men who were loitering. Officer Wells stopped the men and started to search them when one of the suspects took off running. Officer Wells gave chase when the suspects just stopped running and turned around as to give up. Instead he drew a gun and shot and killed Officer Wells.
