She was survived by her three children: William, Sam, and Lindy
Paramedic Cobb was killed in a crash while responding to a call from headquarters for a second crew to come in. On her way to the station, she was involved in a head-on collision. She was airlifted from the scene by helicopter to St. John's Emergency Medical Center. She succumbed to her injuries later that day.
In addition to her EMS Service with Gerald Area Ambulance District, she was a paramedic for nine years with Abbott Ambulance in St. Louis, where she served as operations supervisor. Before that, she had started her career in EMS with North Crawford County Ambulance in Cuba, Missouri.
