Incident

Deputy Sheriff Clemons died after he was shot while he was attempting to arrest the son of his brother in-law.

Deputy Clemons and two other deputies had gone to the home of his brother in-law on Spring Fork. As they approached the house, shots were exchanged, and both Deputy Clemons and his brother in-law were killed. The 23 year old suspect that they were attempting to serve a burglary warrant on escaped.
