Ambulance Driver George Stanley

While returning to Weeksbury after transporting a patient to a hospital in Huntington, West Virginia, Mr. Stanley's ambulance was involved in a crash with a truck loaded with lumber at Dunlow, near Wayne, West Virginia. Mr. Stanley was pronounced dead at the scene. His partner, Carl Johnson, was transported with minor injuries to the same hospital they had just left.
