Paramedic Marvel was providing emergency medical coverage during a concert Friday evening at the Verizon Music Center when he suffered an apparent heart attack.
Paramedic Marvel was the Training Officer for Seals Ambulance -- which provides EMS coverage for several communities near Indianapolis. He also worked part-time for Community Health Network EMS, Boone County EMS, and was a member of the Cicero Township Fire Dept.

To the Family and Co-worker of Mark Marvel-
It was with a very sad heart that I heard the news last night of Mark's death. There are no words to express my sincere sympathy. Though I didn't know Mark, I am sure he possessed all the great qualities that our public servants do, and I know he will be greatly missed. My husband was a paramedic who died of a heart attack while on duty also almost five months ago, so I can imagine the disbelief and sorrow you must be feeling in these early days of your grief.You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
