May God be with his family, friends and co-workers during this very difficult time as they honor a hero.
Bill, I am fighting tears as I write this. I remember when I first met you at Southwest District in Knightstown as a cadet. From the cadet stage I moved onto an EMT student and I met the famous Kirby's Kave at Camp Hematoma. That was one of my favorite exercises. From then on you and Cindy both became good friends. You loved to teach and you taught me a lot. You were a big brother to me. You were one of the most dedicated EMT's I ever knew. You were dedicated not just to the people of Henry County but to everyone. There is a big whole in the Henry County EMS family. No one will ever be able to fill your shoes. I will never forget you! God Bless Brother.
Our condolences to the family and friends.
Holding you all in prayer as you journey through this very difficult time. May your memories be happy and help guide you to a healing heart. God Bless you "Bill".

I will always love miss you and honor you everyday, the things you did for me are just and life that you gave me are things i will always love and adore you for. The time has come for father and son to show this world all good work you done. I only met Bill a few times and each time he was so nice and willing to help out. The first time I met Bill was a couple weeks ago when I was having internet problems, he let me use his computer so I could do my school work, while I was sitting there he came in and got me and said " do you want to see something funny?" I followed him outside and he was like look at David driving the lawn mower. We laughed so hard watching him mow the yard. I was very pleased to have met Bill. He was a great man that loved his family and friends. He will be missed greatly. God Bless the Kirby family and his EMT family.
