He was my first love. When we were kids in New Jersey, we lived five houses apart on East 7th Street, and had 6th grade together at Frederick W.Cook public school. The last time I saw him I was 14 years old--the age I left N.J. We spoke when we reconnected, after his first child was born, and I happily wished him and his budding family well. He was always a sweetheart, and I'll never forget our walks from my bus stop. I missed him, but it's sad to know that he passed so long ago! I pray his family is doing well and being cared and loved after. I send my love and prayers.
I am still over whelmed by the out pour support our family has had with the loss of a husband, son, brother, uncle, grandson. I was very proud of my brother for following his dream and being the second generation on Washington township fire department. Still when I go past I look for him and the boys call out " firefighter uncle Marks station" . My brother was a great man and wonderful uncle to my boys. He would have me take the boys to see him or call me and let the boys see the trucks. His son loved the trucks too. Mark not a day don't go bye that I don't miss you. Love you always and you will always be my baby brother and hero. That night I did your motor " never leave a brother behind, I was at ur station for 6 hrs till I knew everything.
I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful thoughts, wishes, and prayers. I am so grateful to all of the firefighters that he worked with, and took care of him when he passed away, and everyday they were together. I was able to talk with so many wonderful people, and really enjoyed hearing the stories about Mark. I am so proud of him, he turned into an amazing guy. RIP Markie
May the good Lord be with your family at this time of sorrow and may god hold and keep you with him. Rest in peace my brother, we will carry on keeping you in our mind and hearts.
Rest in peace and keep your young family in God's hand. Well done.
To the family, take care of yourselves the way he would have wanted you to. Any Firefighter and Police Officer know the chances they take each day but those left behind are the ones they worry about the most. Know that you were loved and he was doing what he thought was the right think that day. He is at peace with GOD and their is no more special gift he could leave you. God Bless You And Keep You in HIS loving arms.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Haudenschild family and our brothers and sisters of Washington Twp Fire. May God bring you all strength and comfort to get through this difficult time.
