We all have been blessed to have known Lt. Lentz whether we worked with him suched as I did, or whether we met him in a community setting. Leslie had a personality that was infectious. He was honest, loyal to his cause and to himself and was respected by many. May God be with his family and wrap His loving arms around each one to give them the comfort and strength they need. Lieutenant, your job is complete here on earth. God now needs you in HIS kingdom. Until we meet again my friend, until we meet again.
Lt. was one of the first supervisors I met at CCC when I transferred. He was kind to his staff and listened to and heard them. He tried to make his work environment a better place to work for not only himself but his fellow co-workers. CCC lost a good supervisor when he transferred. The state lost an amazing employee. And all his co-workers lost a friend, confidant, advocate, and amazing supervisor in his passing. My prayers and thoughts are to his family and close friends. The lord has earned an Angel and he has returned home. God bless.
It’s with much sadness that I send this , I worked with Lt. Lentz when he was at CCC , he was always great to work with , always ready to help out , he will be missed by all ! Sending prayers to the family and friends!
You will be missed my Friend.
May God bless and keep Lt. Lentz’s son and protect his fellow CO’s.
