Firefighter Herlof "Ted" Hansen III

Ted was a friend and co worker, even after all these years it's hard to believe he's gone, when Teddy and I were on rescue 1 in Gary In. I think back to all the fires that we fought together, l would not have wanted anyone else by my side then him. Thank You.

I didn't have the honor of meeting him, but being a friend of his sister, i have seen how very dearly he is loved and missed by his family. His story is one of the Bravery of a true Hero! God Bless him, his family and all of our first responders

Ted was a dedicated,Firefighter, classmate,and friend. He was always willing to help without you having to ask. The words that come to mind to describe him is Loyal, and a Comrade. Never forgotten. May he be remembered as a man who loved his Family,being a Firefighter and his friends. Shirley J. Walker
