Shrek was a great partner always greeting me with a smile and a "how goes ita" anytime I saw him. He was not only a good medic, but a great friend. He will be sorely missed. God bless his family and his EMS family.

What can I say, I've known Shrek for many years. I remember when he received his nickname of Shrek and how it upset him at first. I told him that with the crew here at Laurel Co. EMS, if Wil Bishop liked you enought to nickname you, then you were liked. He thought about it for a minute and then he was happy. Shrek was one of a kind with a heart that was bigger than life. He loved his job and his co-workers were always in his thoughts as he exhibited in his calls to our friend Wendi, checking on her after she got hurt in the line of duty. I had the priviledge of working with Shrek as his supervisor, partner and as his paramedic preceptor. He was a pleaseure to have around and was a very dedicated employee, student and friend. I will miss his smie and his heart and as Wendi said, I would love to hear that laugh just one more time. Shrek, Wendi and I love you brother we will miss you. Our thoughts and prayers will be with youand Ginny and the girls. Rest in Peace my friend.
