I worked with Chris at Whitley County EMS. Chris was a great guy, a great partner. Chris cared about what he did and always had a smile on his face. He was the one to always cheer you up when you were down. Chris will be greatly missed by all.

I started at Garrard County EMS in August of last year, Shrek was my training paramedic for a few shifts. On first shift, Shrek told me that he would do what he could to help and if I ever needed anything, to let him know. Since that day, Shrek and I worked many shifts together and leaned on each other. I am proud to have served with him and will miss his friendship, most of all his smile and hugs when a bad day had been had. Love and condolences to family, friends and his coworkers. Till we meet again my friend...

Chris touched our lives, and the lives of those that he cared for, in more ways than anyone could ever articulate. The gentle giant we all know as Shrek, was a sweet, kind, sincere EMT turned Paramedic, with a larger than life heart. He had the heart that any EMS person should have. A true caregiver, a partner, a brother, my friend, you will be missed terribly. Our prayers are with you Jen and the girls. It has broken all of our hearts to lose him here at Clay County and in our hearts as sisters and brothers. Our hearts will never be the same. Without Chris I would have made one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Due to his honesty and concern for my wellbeing and despite the impact that it could have had on our friendship, he had the guts that it took to be a true friend. I will never forget you; Good Bye my friend and God BlessâA¦âA¦âA¦

I only met Chris one time and know that he served in his postion to help others. It is what all paramedics, EMT, Firefighters and Service men do. I wished I knew him better but he will always look over all of us that help others. Let his memory help each of us to do our job to the fullest of our ability.

A person standing alone can be easily defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NLT). Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Myself and the staff of Hardin County EMS wish to extend our prayers and support to the family of Paramedic Hall. We all mourn your loss. He chose a profession that requires great personal sacrifice. You should be proud that your husband and father dedicated his time to helping others. There is no greater gift.

All gave some. Some gave all.
