Hearing his voice on the EMS radio and/or seeing him walk through the door with a patient, either way...he loved what he did. He was so genuine with his patients and so professional in his job. He was a great person to learn from and a very easy person to talk to....his presence will be missed. The staff at Ephraim ER sends the condolences to his family.

Chris assisted us on many scene flights and no matter where we saw him, at the hospital or on the ground he was always friendly and had something to laugh about. We are all sadden at our loss of Chris from our profession, and more for his family. He will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Although I often meet EMS crews from Garrard county, I did not have the pleasure to meet Chris personally. From the crews at Boyle County EMS, our hearts and prayers are with Chris's family.

I had the pleasure to be on the same shift with Chris "Shrek" Hall, for the last several months. I found him to be a man who genuinely cared about the people he came into contact with. His patients, his coworkers, anyone he delt with, got the best he could give. He was, (as they say), all heart. He is unreplaceable, we can find another paramedic, we will never find another Chris.

Shrek you taught me a lot in the past year and a half and I was looking forward to learning more from you. You where one hell of a friend and one hell of a partner. We had alot of fun on shift and off. It is hard knowing you are gone but we all know that God needed you to come home. I look forward to seeing you again when the time comes. I love you and I am very blessed to have known you. You made a difference in this world the short time you had with us all . Love your friend and brother, Justin GCEMS EMT b - 225

Chris was a great person who brightened everyones day. He took time to explain things or to just tell you stories or listen when you had something to say. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.

I had the pleasure of meeting Chris awhile back but recently got to spend more time with him being a student. I also had the honor of working with him on his last shift. Chris had a great day on Friday and made all of us that were with him laugh. He had a heart as big as the world and was so proud of what he did. I am so glad that I could call him friend and he will be missed greatly.
